About us

Nordic Collective in Mexico was created on May 2015 after an exhibition of crafts, gastronomy, music and an approach to Norway mother tongue in the languages institute’s facilities of Xalapa city (CIX).

Independent and non profit crew which main goal is to spread Scandinavian culture through art.

After a while it was decided to organised an independent and multi-disciplinary crew in order to bridge the gap with the Scandinavian culture. This project started with a norwegian film series later turned into the first Nordic Conferences in Veracruz state.

All the lectures, concerts, films and international guests included in the program obtained a great audience’s approval.

Nowadays the Nordic Collective in Mexico aims to stablish a cultural exchange through demonstrations artists in all its aspects thanks to the support of all crew’s members whose profesional experience covers various fields such as anthropology, archeology, languages, literature, film studies and graphic design, this is a team working in journalism, translation, design and cultural promotion.
